Cloud Ten Pictures' latest documentary, DRAGONS OR DINOSAURS? explores the link between Dragon legends and dinosaurs.

I think I’m like most people who are impressed by people with PhDs. It indicates that this person has done a great deal of in-depth research and work, is intelligent, and has published peer-reviewed papers on a particular topic.

And I think most people also think that if a person is a scientist, they’re somehow more objective than others. That they can look at the world through the eyes of logic and evidence and mathematics and see past whatever biases may affect others. They’re open-minded and willing to go where their science leads them. I mean: it’s science right? There are principles and standards that are followed and adhered to and therefore their conclusions can be trusted.
Well, it turns out scientists are people too.

One of the remarkable discoveries in our documentary DRAGONS OR DINOSAURS? is the soft-tissue that was found inside the femur bone of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. This soft tissue, complete with red blood cells and DNA, would not remain pliable and soft for longer than a few thousand years – MAYBE 10,000 years tops. Yet the evolutionary model has dinosaurs like the Trex becoming extinct about 68 MILLION years ago! That’s an ENORMOUS difference. As one of the Institute for Creation Research scientists noted: “it’s one of the greatest paleontological discoveries ever!

What makes this discovery more remarkable is that it was made by Mary Schweitzer – who works with Jack Horner – both two of the leading evolutionary paleontologists in the world! However, many of their colleagues are not happy with what she found. After she had done 17 tests to make sure the soft marrow tissue was indeed what she thought it was, other evolutionary scientists still refused to believe her. She said in Discover Magazine in April 2006, “I had one viewer tell me he didn’t care what the data said, he knew that what I was finding wasn’t possible, I wrote back and said, ‘well what data would convince you?’ And he said ‘none’.”

So here’s a perfect example of where beliefs will override any scientific evidence or proofs or reason. It’s important to note that Charles Darwin did the same thing. He made-up the theory of evolution knowing that the fossil record did not support it at all. He wrote in his book, “Origin of the Species” that the fossil record would prove his theory within his lifetime. Well, it’s now nearly130 years since he died and there’s still NO fossils that support it.

If there were not so many people desperate to disprove God, evolution would have been discarded and forgotten about years ago. Instead people cling to a racist, sexist, unscientific, unsupported theory in the vain hope that they can remain their own little gods.

“For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.” Romans 1:21-23
