Big Scary Monsters: What’s not to like?

DRAGONS OR DINOSAURS? is now available on DVD!

Why did we produce DRAGONS OR DINOSAURS?

Dinosaurs are often used as a way of discrediting the Bible. Why doesn’t the Bible mention them? Why weren’t they put on the ark? If dinosaurs died out 68 million years before man, then how could they have been created alongside Adam? Many well-meaning Christians may answer: “don’t worry about all that. Trust in Jesus.” The problem with that is: if you can’t trust the word of God as accurate in the beginning, how or why should you trust it anywhere else?

In speaking with author Darek Isaacs about a book he was working on about dragon legends, it became clear that what all these people were talking about and recreating and interacting with were in fact what we would today call DINOSAURS! How would you describe a dragon? A big, scary lizard with sharp teeth and claws. How would you describe a dinosaur? The same way.

Suddenly we had a way of using Dragons and Dinosaurs to actually prove the Bible as accurate. And at the same time answer those troubling questions. The Bible actually describes dinosaurs more than most other animals (Job 40, 41). Dinosaurs were on the ark. The average size of a dinosaur is actually that of a sheep! But didn’t dinos die out 68 million years ago? Recent incredible fossil discoveries, facts about dating methods, and the existence of dragon legends all decisively point to man and dinosaurs being created together: exactly as the Bible says!

All of the above is why we produced it. Well, that and Dragons and Dinosaurs are cool!

  1. I read about them in the book of Enoch although it wasn’t a part of the canon, but it spoke of the nephilim breeding with lizards. :/

  2. Aren’t they mentioned in Job? Not by that exact word but they are there…
