THE END TIMES – Mark Of The Beast – 666
The Book of Revelation is a topic of great discussion. In context, according to Scripture, it is the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show to His servants the things that must soon take place.
God made it known (to man) by sending His angel to His servant John.
The Apostle John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, writes:
And the time is near folks. We should be talking about this at great length with one another.
So let’s talk about what the Book of Revelation says about the “last days” Commonly referred to as the “end times” or in theological terms as “Eschatology,” the study of the “last things.”
In the Book of Revelation Chapter 13 verses 11 and following, the Apostle John is witnessing to a second beast that causes the earth and its inhabitants to worship the first beast discussed at the beginning of the same chapter.
This second beast is the one that: causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding caluculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.
Then there is a stern warning in Scripture found in the Book of Revelation chapter 14 verses 9-11:
What is this mark? What does it look like? Will you know it when you see it?

I believe we are living in the last days and I am absolutely devasted at how so many churches are more worried about social programs than they are about warning people that Our Precious Saviour Jesus is returning very soon. I don't believe people realize the hell that is about to be unleashed on this earth. I blame the picnic prophets for all their false words they speak to tickle their perishners ears. I could go on but I will wait to share more. I have been studying the Rev for yrs along with the old testament prophets and it is very clear where we are in time. People need to stop worrying about serving their mammon and get back with God and what His Holy word says. In Christ service Laurie. E
I don't know where to begin with this…I certainly feel we are in the last days. I'll just answer your questions and the discussion can go from there.
I believe the RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH will take place before the ANTICHRIST is revealed. I do believe that he is around…maybe not in position yet but very close. And without getting into too much politics I believe we have government officials who will usher in the ANTICHRIST. Nuff said about that.
THE MARK OF THE BEAST…already here…chips inserted under the skin. They're already testing it on animals, humans will be next. And what's weird is I watched a CSI the other night that had this subject (chips). And the end times was the first thing I thought of!
I've read all the Left Behind books. As a person who has been very interested in the end times, I found them very captivating. At the time I started reading them I was not going to church or digging into God's word. They definitely booted me back! I've always said that when we do get raptured I sure would like to watch and see how close Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins were to the actual events (aside from the fiction part).
Yeesh, I really hesitate to do this… I have heard 16 different versions of the "rapture" from people all my life. None of those stories are Biblical. John Darby invented the concept, based on the latin root "rapio" (Greek harpaz?) in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 which means, essentially to take by force. However, it states that the dead "in Christ" will rise from the grave, then those, together with the still living "in Christ", will be taken up to the clouds. No one gets left behind there, or if they do, it is implied. But…
In Matthew 24:40-41 we get the "left behind" idea. I think the Greek (aphi?mi) actually says that the unbeliever "leaves behind" something and the believer (paralamban? – one who accepts) stays on Earth. Presumably, this then gets tied back to the "rapture" because now all those who "left" are not in Christ: all those who stayed are in Christ and the dead rose in their incorruptible bodies somewhere between those two events. So no one got "left behind" there, either. The "left behind" left to go somewhere else and the "raptured" ones stayed and _then_ got "raptured" per Thessalonians.
In his book, My Absurd Religion (By Which I Make My Living), Pastor Steve Gray, in chapter 12, talks about the "Absurd End Times Ga Ga".
Revelation in general: why would God give detailed information about some hazy distant future time to people who would not be alive when it happened and not say a word about the sacking of Jerusalem which was right around the corner (in 70 AD) when many of them would be alive or would have children alive when it happened? I believe the things in Revelation already happened – in 70 AD – and what a beautiful thought that the events foretold when Revelations was written, came to pass after the fact and are proven by the historical evidence.
"The" Antichrist? Can't find him. Blue Letter Bible search on Young's translation and the KJV show 4 uses of "antichrist": all of them in John. 1 John 2:18, 1 John 2:22, 1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7 which amounts to one warning and three definitions. ??????????? antichristos – Strong's G500: the adversary of the Messiah.

I must touch on at least one of your comments, Bill. "why would God give detailed information about some hazy distant future time to people who would not be alive when it happened"…God did this in the book of Isaiah about the coming of Jesus. In fact, He did it quite often.
OK, maybe I'll touch on another. Further down in I Thessalonians (5:9-11) it does state (The Message Bible)…Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind!

True, Sonja, but the opening of Revelation 1 uses ????? tachos – meaning quickness, speed. Things that are going to (Young's) "come to pass quickly" or (KJV) "shortly come to pass" or, as the top of the blog says "that must soon take place". A warning, seemingly, that there isn't much time left… 50 years versus 2000+ years. In my opinion.
I can't find 'left behind' in 1 Thess 5:9-11 in the KJV or Young's translation. I see, in 5:11, the "build ye up, one the one, as also ye do" (Young's) and "edify one another even as also ye do" (KJV). I would hazard a guess that The Message Bible included the "left behind" notion partly in response to the popularity of Darby's not-quite-Biblical rapture theory and partly to tie it into Matthew.
I used to study the "end times" quite a lot. And I've read the entire Left Behind series.
I now don't think about the end times at all. And I eventually found the Left Behind series to be too drawn out and tepid… but I digress.
We as followers of Christ should not be so consumed with God's timetable. He and only He knows. And He's given us better things to be focused on during our time in this world.
If nothing else, consider this…
The first coming of Christ was not at all what people were expecting. Why should His second coming be any different?
When our Lord and Savior returns, it will be at once everything foretold in scripture, and unlike anything that we have yet imagined or could possibly ever imagine!
I'm with Bill on this one too. Just too much fast and loose hermeneutics in the premil, especially dispensational, position. Hope my brothers and sisters would do the work themselves to look into these things.
Here's another idea – The Message Bible was published in 2002. Paraphrased from 1993 – 2002. Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins came out with the Left Behind series starting in 1996 with Cloud 10's films in 2000. I wonder if this was instrumental in shaping The Message Bible?
It is a good topic for discussion indeed. As of now, I tend to agree more with post-millenialism. Important issue for sure!
I think we are nearer to the end times but I don't think we are close as Sodom and Gomorrah was. Remember there was only 1 righteous family there and here in America there are still plenty of Christians and we are not alone. I think it is possible to be in the end times but I also could imagine it being a WHOLE lot worse. I keep thinking when things get hard how it would be to be the only family left that is a believer.
I like to think that the Rapture of the church is going to happen before tribulation, is seems the easier way as a Christian but I have heard good arguments both ways.
I tend to lean towards the one that says the 7 days of Creation is a sign of our lives on Earth tying in the verse that says in 2 Peter 3:8 ( it's also in the old testament somewhere) it says 1 day is like a thousand years. I also believe in Creation science and that the Earth is only about 6000 yrs old. Which I get from taking the Bible literal and so doing the math with the dates in the Bible it shows the Earth to be 6000+ years old. So if 1 day is like a thousand years and the 7 days of Creation are like the time we are to spend on Earth 7 days creation=7000 years of Earth. So then I would believe the Rapture to happen before the bad times and soon.
I believe the Mark of the Beast to look just like it says but perhaps hidden from our view.
I believe the AntiChrist is going to be loved by many but true believers will see through it, but it will be hard to know for sure until later. The believers that stay true to scripture regardless of what the World declares scientifically ok or just plain ok like Lot and his family will be the ones to know who he/she is. I believe it is going to be hard to be a Christian and some are going to have to be hush about their beliefs at times (only led by God) so unbelievers in the end times can still be saved. I believe the Anti Christ could be alive today but it also could be many years away. Just like the Bible says live as though it is going to happen tomorrow but keep working and going like it isn't going to happen until after you are gone.
For years this topic has been close to my heat. At first because well meaning people tried to use it to scare me to JESUS. I watched the videos that were supposidly based on Revelation and included these mutant people,and riffles. I was told that they were working on a microchip that would keep track of every human in the world and in order to do that each person would be given a number consistaing of the rows of 6 numbers each. I was terrified of reading a precious book in the Bible and taught to fear it because it looked more like a horror movie I'd see on the syfy channel than the beautiful writings of the prophets of the Old Testament.
Then I went to Bible school and I got to read it for myself. I got to see that it is a revelation fo JESUS, and the word "antichrist" is never mentioned. I got to study the history and the lives of the people it was written to.
But most importantly I got learn to learn abou my Saviour. I learned that JESUS is a warrior and not a pansy. I saw that my GOD has me and there is nothing to fear. I felt the warning to live totally for Him because He will not stand for a half-hearted committment.
There will be an end, and when JESUS comes back- there will be no mistaking it. Whether you know Him or not, when the trumpet sounds all will hear it.
And I realize that my not leaving my name can be used to just right me off because I don't have the guts to stand by what I beleive, which isn't true. But I don't want to argue. Just wanted to share my story and point out that this amazingly beautiful and deep book of the Bible is to point to 1 person- and that is JESUS, who never brings unholy fear.
Good discussion, I'm trying to figure out why when in the Bible we see numerous times the idea that these things are "near" or will take place "shortly" (I believe Eric even mentioned a few of them above) we are to take that as 2,000 years later, but when modern "prophets" tell us we are in the "last days" or Jesus is coming back "shortly" or "soon" it means in the next few years?
I am inclined to believe those whom we all agree were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the Bible over our modern writers. They said soon, they meant soon – 70AD was it and now we can celebrate with our King in His Kingdom and let His light shine through us as we continue the work of reconciling His world to Him, first and foremost by living as He did.
The real test now is for my brothers and sisters who disagree with me, will you be able to walk in the Spirit with the fruit of the Spirit – knowing
that a tree is known by its fruit.

I've recently been fascinated as much by Matthew 24 as by Revelation or Daniel. I think we can see without much haziness that things are getting worse for believers and will probably continue that trend in the foreseeable future. The end is coming, and it's closer today than it was yesterday, and regardless of whether the world ends soon or not, my time line is zipping right along and it will end without question sooner than I'd like it to. So, those known quantities effect my choices today. It's a viewpoint adjustment that redefines what things are really important. Thanks for making us think a bit Eric. I'm enjoying the banter.
Lets face it; we are in the last days. The writing is all over the wall. I also believe the antichrist is alive and well somewhere out there. Please pray for any unbelievers you may know. They will have a chance for salvation after the rapture but I hate to think what they will have to go through in all of this. Those three numbers, 666, give me chills up my spine. A scary yet real combo.
Im new to being a Christian but Im not new to God, he's always been in my life and no matter if we're in the end times now or down the road, either way, if our hearts are pure,and we trust in Jesus, no worries…

I don't think pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib really matter at all, to be honest. "I'm a pan-tribulationist…it's all going to pan out exactly the way God wants it to."(Mike Warnke – i don't trust him for much, but i like that line). In point of fact, i think that Satan enjoys the heated debates that well meaning Christians get involved with when this issue is brought up – it distracts us from our real purpose – LOVE GOD and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR – you know that whole Great Commission thing.
I don't think that Left Behind has it completely correct – but i also am not convinced that the "rapture" is going to happen before the rise to power of the Antichrist…for that matter, in the Bible, anytime that antichrist is used, it is used as a description not a title…could it be that there will be no ONE person, but rather a world system that opposes God? Doesn't the Bible also say that no one knows the day or the hour except the Father? If that is the case, how can we possibly say that we are in the last days? Throughout history people have thought that they were in the last days…every era of humanity has thought that the problems they were facing were the signs of the times.
Been a dabbler in eschatology off and on all my life. In Daniel the prophecies foretell of the last days and then the messenger states it's meaning will be hidden until those times approach, when wisdom and understanding are increased, as we then would have the Holy Spirit in us. I would like to recommend the book “The World’s Last Dictator” by Dwight L. Kinman. I knew Dwight and listened to him throughout the late 80's and early 90's. He foretold of the current financial collapse back in the very early 90's because of his research on the global one world banking community and its ties to political, military, and religious powers targeting the same 'universal aims'. He also always made it clear, in 2 Thes. 2:10-12 that it is not the anti-Christ, but God himself who is behind the great deception for those who receive not the love of the truth but follow wickedness. And 'the lie' is related to the first lie, "you will not surely die, but be as God". This lie soothes those who are perishing into a false hope that nothing bad can harm them, when in fact devastation is all around them. The anti-Christ will be empowered to deceive and through peace and safety will gather all without the truth to him. 'Universality' will be his cry to rid the world of factions and enemies, so, refuse to follow him and look out. His main motive is pride and will seek nothing but the highest world stage and using his mantra for peace will snare those desperately seeking it. In fear, they will continue exalting him to escape the woes of this reality. Jesus said, "I have not come to bring peace, but a sword of truth."
If their is to be a rapture, from what I've read and studied, it will come at the mid-point of the tribulation period for the Bride is not appointed to come under the wrath of God, but is appointed to suffer trials and tribulation as Jesus did Himself which will only serve to make her more like Him in the end.
I believe we are indeed living in the last days. But what are christians doing about it? Unlike other religions, we don't go door to door. Are we as open to talk about our faith?
Our families, friends and neighbours and people we work with are about to go through the tribulation. Christians will be gone. Who then will know the truth.
and I have somw questions. whu is beheading so important in eastern culture and in most end times movies?
and if the mark of the beast is indeed the veri- chip and it is taken in the hand can someone who has receved the chip simpley come to faith, see what he has done wrong and cut off his hand?

Where is your basis for this kind of judgment? Are you saying those who believe the prophecies weren't fulfilled in 70A.D. are not careful to love others as He first loved us? Are we only fearfully minded and incapable of thinking in anything but ourselves? I don't know you or whether I totally disagree with you or not, but if I did, could you correctly discern the fruit of the spirit if it were demonstrated to you?

As for some here who are stating that The tribulation happened with the fall in 70 AD there is one minor flaw which is Documented again by Irenicus who was a student of John who wrote Revelation which documents in Church history that the book was written in approx 94-96 AD just prior to his death. How can John write about a revealing concerning the coming of Messiah if He had already come and the temple was already destroyed? Makes no sense does it… I would challege anyone who cannnot back up the dating of the book being written prior to 70AD
Eusebius (A.D. 300-340) the father of church history writes in his Ecclesiastical History about the connection between John the Apostle and Domitian.
IT is said that in this persecution the apostle and evangelist John, who was still alive, was condemned to dwell on the island of Patmos in consequence of his testimony to the divine word. Irenaeus, in the fifth book of his work Against Heresies, where he discusses the number of the name of Antichrist which is given in the so-called Apocalypse of John, speaks as follows concerning him: a “If it were necessary for his name to be proclaimed openly at the present time, it would have been declared by him who saw the revelation. For it was seen not long ago, but almost in our own generation, at the end of the reign of Domitian.
Since Domitian died in A.D. 96, the date attributed to the book of Revelation coincides with this date.
For the pretrists out there I would ask what say you concerning the above documented facts from the original historians own texts concerning the timeframe being during the reign of Domitian and then Backed up by Eusebius And prior to him the writings of Irenicus who was directly loinked to and involved with John

The original Greek word for "mark" is "charagma" which means a "scratch or etching, i.e., a stamp or badge of servitude, a mark". It is also interesting to note that the number 666 is actually a word in the original Greek. The word is "Chi Xi Stigma", the first part denoting the number 666 and the last part "stigma" meaning "to stick or prick, a mark incised or punched (for recognition of ownership)". Look it up yourself, it's exactly what it means!
We come to the Verichp much like what your cat or dog has that Identifies them when a scanner is used.

In light of these definitions, implantable biochips could very well be the physical "mark" spoken of in the book of Revelation! Imagine if you will like going to Disney World they make you put your Right hand up to be placed in a reader that identifies you from your bone structure so they say.. Currently we are in congress arguing the Medical Healthcare reform but all bills have proven to provide for all medical records be digitized and sent to a main computer system in Washington DC. That means your Xrays, Mri's,CT scans, Bood tests, Urine tests, and in some doctors offices even currently they take your picture to Identify you as you being who you say you are, Treatments and medications, as well as any diagnosis and doctors notes. This can be done with the current technology and all of it attached to an RFID Verichip implanted into your Hand or for those maybe with out a right hand or unable to take it in a hand everyone to live must have a forehead. They do this with Pets Now! Each time you go to the doctor it Identifies you, your medical history and last visit. Now that you have this RFID verichip though they can add in your any other Identification as we see in the diagram in the above link.. Part 3 Mark of the Beast
May not seem like much but when you look at the trends now compared to the last 10 years, 10 years ago people used an atm to pay for purchases 8% of the time 10 years later that number is 70% + of using electronic payment.. Ok still not a big deal yet because there is still cash? Well the World Bank has called for a single currency. How would they handle that?? Ok make it all electronic so the World dollar becomes a Credit and it is an electronic Credit.. But why did they go to an elctronic credit? have you seen the cost of the Metals in the Markets?? it cost almost 8 sents to make a nickel or 5 cents.. That means it cost more to make the money then it is worth makes no sense huh?? well cut costs no more nickels… Well then you go so they go to Paper Money well great we cut down more trees and then the Green Plan goes out the window because it helps in Global Warming to Grow… But it just cost some wind or solar power to run a computer that scans a card or later an RFID Verichip to use credits from a virtual account in a World Bank. So then the little RFID chip that remains Implanted and can not be lost or stolen remains in your hand meaning no ID theft, Can't be Lost, And can Identify who you are, what you have bought, where you bought, how much you paid for it,The time you Bought it, Who your Doctor is, What is wrong with you, What medicine you take, All your family members and where they are and how to contact them, And where you are at any given time.
Well the next point of this is Sell.. The same type little RFID Verichip we are talking about is now in all products or will be in short time and is used to track all info from the date and time of production, where it was produced and who produced it, After all the person making the product is employed and must be productive right so the RFID verichip they have in their hand or forehead is linked to the RFID verichip they place in each product they produce advantage to an employer then of who is productive in producing and selling the product.. We all know when it comes down to getting a payed you must produce work the more and better work you produce the more pay you recieve correct? What better way for an emplyer to know what you are doing while on the job then to know what YOU PRODUCE FOR MARKET. But that is the manufactuering part right? Well gee they have to have someone hand you the product again they have the Verichip then ultimately the store you are at is Identified with it's Own Verichip RFID tag..
Some will say But I buy everything or sell everything on line..Would it not be just as simple for your computer to be set up with a reader? After all Many computers use Fingerprint Identification to be accessed right now the reader would be just as easy to add in..
Part 4 Mark of the Beast
As we enter the Coming age of Our Lords Return let us be a wtiness to all about what is happening in our world.. Many are Pre trib Mid trib and Post Trib in belief of the Rapture.. Let me say this it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter one bit when the rapture happens or if it happens. If you are saved by repenting and confessing your sins, Have placed all faith and trust in Christ, and asked him into your heart…Truely repentant truely faithful…. Then you are forgiven. that is the bottom line of salvation.; Some will say " Well I am saved so I don't need to worry about the mark because I will be raptured" My reply to that is how selfish can that statement be! You maybe Saved but have you reached out and witnessed to anyone with what the Mark of the Beast maybe? I am saved I would like to believe though if the rapture were to happen 10 seconds after I post this someone who is not saved would still be witnessed to through me and the reasearch I have done. If I were someone who was not saved, I would hope having questions of "Where did eveyone go?" and come and search out what "those silly christians were talking about with this rapture thing" and find a witnessing tool that warns me that Hey the next 3 and 1/2 years is going to be really hard but there will be a time when I will have to choose to take the Mark of the Beast or Starve or even maybe better or worse have my Head cut off for not doing so and be able to face the torture that may come inbetween, Knowing that if I took the Mark of the beast the death I would suffer at the Hands of Christ would be tortured forever in the Lake of fire..
If however the rapture doesn't come or comes in the middle or even in the end I am still a witness and a watchman on the wall EZ 3 and Ez 33.. It is a matter of being prepared Pro 6 tells us concerning the ant.

The dating of Revelation is still widely debated. The majority of current scholars use 68-69 AD, which is supported by the Bible, as I previously mentioned, stating how soon this was to pass. The time between vision and public availability was likely lengthy. However, as was often the case, the churches probably had copies well under wraps. Just like governments do today, this was so volitile it would not have been easy on those found with it.
Irenaeus stated he had gotten the information from those who had seen John face-to-face, so he has third hand information.
Eusebius claims that Domitan started the persecution referred to in Revelation.
Epiphanius of Salamis states Revelation was written in the time of Claudius (10 BC – 54 AD).
If it were officially published 26 years after the incidents of which it speaks, it makes even more sense, as it would likely have caused much trouble being widely and publically disseminated in any of the 27 or so years previous to that..

Anyways, I have spent most of my Christian life not thinking about Eschatology, end times, etc. I've had the mentality "the most relevant takeaway from Revelation is comfort for persecuted Christians, as that is the context that it was written in."
I recently watched "An Evening of Eschatology" hosted by Bethlehem College and Seminary (a ministry of John Piper's church,) and it really got me thinking about why I've neglected to study this aspect of scripture.

The event itself was awesome from a conversational and film perspective. John Piper moderates a conversation between three really smart theologians who love one another and are at disagreement about the end times. They all make their views known in a lively debate. It was really fun to watch.
The thing that made me want to look more deeply into these things is a statement by Sam Storms in response to Piper's question "Why should lay-Christians care about these things? If we, as seminary trained pastors and professors can't agree, than why even bother?" Sam Storms' response was really convicting.

I am a Journalist who is part of a underground prophetic network. We study end time events that few people know about and are often led by the Spirit to look deeper into some areas. One of the insights the Lord gave us that the "image of the beast," mentioned several times in the book of Revelations will most likely be a hologram. We discovered this when we found through research that Hologram Technology is one of the investments that world leaders are really looking into. Imagine if people were driving down the highway when suddenly a huge face or body appeared in the sky proclaiming to be God. Unfortunately the ignorant masses would freak out and believe that God is speaking to them. Imagine also this "image" said that if we did not obey him there would be consequences, then from his control room he pushes a button and a missile blows up a building. Now you know why people would worship the "image of the beast." Through Hologram Technology this image could appear anywhere in the world at any time, also deceiving the masses by placing "signs in the heavens," etc. If the people of God are not walking in the Spirit, even the elect could be deceived.
Two things. Hologram technology could place "signs in the heavens," and "an image of the beast," in the skies anytime anywhere. Why else would investors be interested in Holograms the size of skyscrapers? Of course, there could also be hologram advertisements. Second thing, the more research being done, the more many are believing either in a Mid-Trib Rapture or a Mid-Trib escape to Israel and Jordan… the woman goes to the wilderness… many preparations for both of these theories are already happening. I would love to be Raptured really quickly… but if we are not, we need to be prepared. The Spirit is preparing those who will listen instead of those who are only looking for a quick escape.

Funny, that you took it as me judging others, when in fact what I meant was, "if you disagree with me can you do it in a way that exemplifies the fruit of the spirit." I disagree with a lot of people on a lot of things, but the real challenge for all of us is to do it in a way that is loving, kind, patient…
I hope that helps clarify my point. I find many times that those who do disagree with me on this topic will yell, scream, call names, and then cut off fellowship, which is incredibly unfortunate.

Also, for the person who said Revelation was written after 70AD I think it's interesting that if that's the case, why wouldn't John have mentioned it – being the incredibly devastating event that it was, something that reshaped the nation and the people forever.
Finally, I liken the idea that Revelation is future to us to someone watching a tv show they recorded on their DVR. Up pops the weather alert for a tornado warning and they react accordingly, not realizing the warning was for 3 days before when the show was live.

Joe as for revelation being written after 70 ad yes it was.. And if it were the case of Prophesy not happening the the coming of Christ as even christ himself addresses would not be possible some 1500 yrs plus earlier. How can we as Christians ignore the prophesy of Christ's coming being fulfilled in his coming? As a Jew they waited and looked for his coming as Prophesied? That is why they asked are you Moshiach or Messiah? if they didn't know he was coming they would have no reason to look so were they reacting to a prerecorded coming of christ? No they were awaiting it! Why because it was Prophesied.. the other point of contention that bears question to your theroy is this what happens to the 1000 year millieum? where did it go?? if it was fullfilled accordingly to your view of johns vision being the 70 ad event then the 1000 years would have also already occured and after that Satan was cast to the lake of fire and alll evil left the earth and Christ dwells directly with the people in his second coming… rev 20:4

all the way through rev 21 there has not been the thousand years as of yet in which the people "LIVE" and "DWELL" with Jesus and then after satan is released again for a short time to be thrown into the lake of fire.. In fact evil has still reamained since the 70 ad date meaning if Satan had been chained for the thousand years there would be a history of No murder or other unG-dly things and Only good things happening in history at least 1000 years. Again that theroy doesn't support that. Accordingly to rev 20: 1-4 satan cannot decieve anone in any way for 1000 years as he is chained in the pit.

Regardless of how crazy someone thinks Suzanne Manthei is, or how we should analyze the Bible and it's prophesies, the bottom line is that we need to be prepared and be about God's business. It's true that we have been saying since John's writings that we are in the end of times and we have seen these signs throughout history, some of them repeating themselves. However, the sign of the beast is pretty significant. The verichip is being prepared, as we debate, to be used starting with our military forces by the year 2014 – only 5 years away (Google search verichip & military). Funny how that coincides with the finality of Obama's Health Care Reform, isn't it? By the time they start implanting our armed forces, they will have enveiled their plan to implant everyone and claim it "for the betterment of the nation." While many believe Obama to be the antichrist, I don't. But I do believe he will usher in the antichrist, whether that be in the next few years or few decades – no one can predict that. Obama is loved by all countries, but his own country and a few others are beginning to see through him. The antichrist will fool most, but not all. Obama does not have the charisma the antichrist will have. But because there are still many who love Obama, they will love whomever he supports. We all know Obama lies about his religious beliefs, and I don't see how anyone can argue that. There really is nothing to analyze, it's pretty obvious if you are keeping up with what is going on around the world. I thought we were fairly close when Obama started siding with the PA, but then he did a turn-about and has recently supported Israel, so this is a good sign that the end will not come yet. But, who knows – it could still happen tomorrow! God's time table is not ours and we need to stop worrying about it and get on with His business. We are wasting time (myself included!) in pouring over "who what when where and how" it will happen. Bottom line – it will happen, but you need to be working on saving those who may not make it. The few minutes you've wasted reading my blog entry could have been used to bring another life to Christ! So – get to His work and stop worrying about tomorrow. If it comes, it comes – if it doesn't, it's God's will!
