TESTIMONIAL
God exists. These two words are the result of 40 years of seeking. They indicate my conclusion. I cannot possibly explain every nuance of 40 years, so I'll just touch on the highlights. In a nutshell: science supports the reality of God: it's a shame that the scientists don't. But, what else should we expect of man?
AMINO ACID SOUP
Abiogenesis is the natural science theory of how life began on Earth. Nothing yet proves that there was no God saying "Let there be self-organizing, self-replicating organic molecules." Man continues seeking some possible way to avoid having God be involved. I do not buy it. God is the ultimate engineer.
THE MISSING LINK
Evolution is a wonderful thing, once you realize God engineered it. Sure, species can adapt. Meaning they can change and be more successful in their environment. Why wouldn't God provide that capability? Again, most theories seek to exclude God's hand in all of it. And so, naturally, they wouldn't even consider that God made Man, seperately from all the rest.
THE EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE
All math aside, the "big bang" theory indicates that the universe is expanding. At any point you want to put it, the light from the expanding universe is still moving outwards and we don't know what is "in front of" this racing curtain of light. Like a moving flashlight at midnight, the light from the "big kablooey" is illuminating things unseen, as it moves. The problem is, for every inch the light moves outward, it takes longer and longer for that light to reflect an image back to us. This is almost a paradox. Every year, we can see more of the universe being lit, but the data is 13 billion light-years (or more) old. As it uncovers more and more things, the data gets older and older. Sort of a time inversion – the longer we look, the further back we see. Our time moves forward and what we see comes from earlier and earlier. Spiritually, there is neither young nor old. Spiritually, there is no time. Someone had to engineer this expanding universe and the only way it could have been done is from the safety of "no-time". Yet, scientists insist this is all natural, rather than super-natural.
WHO DONE IT?
Who made atoms? Who made planets out of those atoms? Who designed the quantum space between electrons? Who designed gravitational forces between everything in the expanding universe? Who made the unseeably small and large? Who coordinated the very large with the very small in such a fashion that it all remains in critical balance, which science tells us can vaporize in an instant if just one tiny thing were thrown out of balance?
If you don't believe in the Creator, God, then you'll have to believe in this: It was just luck that electrons found their way arouund nuclei in so many ways. Just happenstance that these assorted things exploded, creating even more cool things like photons and neutrons and protons and elements which, happily, combined somehow into planets and stars and gasses and inorganic and organic compounds – some of which just fortunately combined in a way to create a self-replicating metabolic system which, as it mysteriously turns out, happened to react to its environment and, in a complete lack of chaos, managed to evolve into sentient beings and in some magical way then split off into over 1.5 million species. One of which is currently trying like crazy to explain all this without the benefit of an omnipotent Creator.
Talk about being unbelievable…

But, but, but… you're trying to 'prove' something that can't be proved in the way that you are saying! That God exists isn't a valid question in the Bible. Romans 1 says that every man knows that God exists; they suppress that knowledge. Logically speaking, the existence of God is not a conclusion to be reasoned towards, but is in itself the basis for any pursuit of knowledge and truth.
No matter how many evidences you compile, you're trying to do something that cannot be done. Aquinas couldn't do it, and neither can you. We aren't philosophers and scientists who discovered God through our weighing of the evidence; we were the recipients of God's gracious self-revelation. You can't empirically prove a non-empirical idea.
Just to add to my note, I challenge anyone to demonstrate that the God they are proving is the Christian God. That is, no jumping from the God of Deism to Jesus with no logical basis!

Science supports the reality of the amazing universe in which we live. What we should expect of man is for him, especially in the infancy of his civilization, to invent something to fill in what he does not yet know or comprehend about that universe. It was once taught that the other planets were borne about the Sun by angels; we now know that gravity is what facilitates the stately waltz of our solar system.
I see no reason to think that a God is what created life. Man has yet to find a way that insists that God was involved. If indeed he were "the ultimate engineer," his success rate would be around .1%– it is estimated that 99.9% of all species that have ever lived are now extinct.
I agree, evolution is a wonderful thing. I disagree in that I again see no need for God to have engineered it. If God provided his creations with the ability to adapt and change as if he didn't exist at all, he is either a god of subtlety or redundancy. Or he doesn't exist. I prefer to appeal to Occam's Razor. Also, I most definitely am not narcissistic enough to believe that my flawed self was created separately from the other creatures on this planet. Just because I walk upright and use tools that were invented over millenia, as well as the fact that my hair confines itself to my head (and lower back) does not make me special.
That is very interesting about the expansion of the universe being almost a time inversion in terms of what we see reflected. I would love to read more about that. The mysteries in the vastness of space have always fascinated me. Yet again, however, there is no need to assume that someone had to engineer the whole affair.
I do believe that it was MY luck that everything came to be as it did. If not, I wouldn't exist. The universe I know wouldn't exist. I try to live my life with the joie de vivre of someone who owes his brief experience with life to the fact that gravity isn't a bit stronger, and the sun isn't purple, and my mom happened to meet and marry my dad.
I enjoyed and was stimulated by reading your points. I hope mine have similar effect.

Sure, I could add photos of sunsets, or a fetus at 12wks, or a time-lapsed photo of a seed to a flower then back to seed, or maybe a starfish…..but I think some people would rather not think themselves as having a higher purpose and that they are from pond scum or monkeys just to climb from one branch of ideas or arguments to the next!

Thank you for your wonderful Testimonial. It is good to see that you have limited your public declaration of conviction and religious experience to disagreeing with my public declaration of conviction and religious experience.
My only response can be that I see no reason to believe in your existence. The only evidence I have that you exist is the ghostly image of words floating on my screen.
While you may offer to "prove" your existence to me, I'm afraid that is largely impossible. Anyone could have written that post. It could well have been posted by an intangible piece of software. Indeed, scientifically speaking, it is more likely a random string of self-ordering data which has presented itself in lieu of any other immediate mode of what it considers "survival".
Based on the content of the post, I would assume that, were you actually a real person, this would be agreeable to you.

Having a relationship with God is a process that has to be on purpose. As with any relationship it has to be built, proven, and established.
I was molested at 7, bullied at 9, committed the murder of my mother by 12, worshiped satan at 14…..encountered homosexuality, picked up countless meaningless relationships…spent my adolescence in a system that should've broken me…..now at 32. I am whole and complete in Christ.

Love. There's proof. Without God, we can't do it, receive it, feel it or see it. Period.
After my grandmother did when I was in the 9th grade, I struggle with a suicidal depression for 7 years. I went to therapy after considering suicide and it didn't help me any, neither did any of the medication they put me on.
I got saved on Oct. 5, 2006. That night, I felt God's presence for the first time ever in my life. And He completely lifted the depression off of me and set me free from it.

If GOD didn't exists then i would never have meant my husband. I ask GOD to lead me to a man that was like my brother because he was funny and a big kid all the way around (even though he was still a kid to me lol) and also someone like my uncle who was very strong will never took ant crap off anyone except maybe his mom lol and also just loved life from both. Well i switched from one store that was going out and the other was moving in and i stayed with the new store for some reason and then a week later meant this guy and it was complete and utter LOVE and i was not a GOD fearing women and he was a GOD fearing man all the way he still is and now i am. If it was not for GOD i would never had my son which he is 10 now and very very healthy
and full of life thanks to GOD. I almost lost my son because i was a women who could not carry a baby and do anything but for some reason i did not loss him and i carried him till i was 8months along and i am very blessed for GOD's help in that because if it was not for HIM my son would not be here and i would never meant my loving and caring and very nice man i love for almsot 13 years. We met and married in 3 months and i love him more than i did before i married him 
if that is humanily possible to people who don't believe there is a GOD. There is if it was not for HIM (GOD) i would not be a GOD fearing women because HE touched my heart some way some how in Cali. and i have been trying my best to stay on track with GOD and try not to swear any more i even promised to stay away from any kind of alcohol because i almost got sick last time i drank and i never did before. I have a degree in math and have studied math and physics extensively. I found two things incredibly interesting (I choose my words carefully): ALL physics hinges on the fact that the number "zero" exits. That is rockets launch to the moon, buildings are standing as towers in the sky, bridges span horribly long and treacherous expanses, trucks drive on ice safely and everyday millions of people take of and land safely based on how "zero" place holds in all of the equations that are used to "prove" that these things are possible. Yet the number "zero" CANNOT be proven, it must be taken wholy on faith. Can you believe that? the very thing that our entire physical society hinges on must be take by faith… ALL math and science "proofs" start with this: "Assume zero to be true…" and then flows the proof.
If the "void" of zero, the "unknown" of zero isn't the mathematical infusion of God, I don't know what is. Our creator is powerful, creative, amazing, worthy and all knowing; but I must say that it seems to me He also has a sense of humor in the subtle and not so subtle ways He reveals Himself and He CLEARLY knows the way we humans think.
